The L’Oréal Professionnel team has been around East London looking for cool, on-trend hair. We found Tracy, wearing a very laid-back style. Her casual disheveled top know reminds us of the “anti-salon”, 90s minimal look created by Luke Hersheson backstage at Richard Nicoll.

Different elements are mixed together-vintage and grungy, sporty shoes and luxury bag, statement red lips and dark eyes, in constrast with her ash blonde hair – creating an overall retro chic look.

London Addixion How-to: Men’s Quiff

Do you want to learn how to create this 50s inspired quiff? It only takes a few easy steps:

1. Apply tecni art volume lift mousse to freshly-washed hair and dry using a vent brush to achieve maximum root lift.

2. Use a medium curling iron to achieve a bend through the top and front sections.

3. Apply some bubbles soufflé to the hair and dry again to break up the curl.

4. Apply bouncy wax to the entire head and style with fingers to get the desired result.

London Addixion How-to: Low Slung Pony

This sexy casual low-slung pony is great for a stroll around London. Here is how you can re-create it:

1. Prepare hair liberally with tecni art pli and playball texture tonic, blow-dry, then spray with tecni art constructor to help protect from heat styling tools.

2. Curl hair randomly to achieve lazy waves and allow to cool, pinning each curl.

3. Shake out and apply bubbles soufflé to midlengths and ends, then lightly backcomb randomly from crown to nape.

4. Use your fingers with a little bouncy wax to separate backcombing and achieve loose, sexy separation.

5. Tilt the head forward and secure the hair in a low ponytail at the nape. For added detail, create some loops in the ponytail with a ribbon and add a comb to finish the front.

With a pair of tongs and a bit of creativity, you’ll achieve this gorgeous style in no time! Just follow the steps below.

Steps by steps created in association with Your Hair magazine. Your Hair magazine is available from most good UK newsagents.

1. Apply 1 to 2 pumps of L’Oréal Professionnel Mythic Oil to toweldried hair and rough dry.

2. Using a curling wand, curl the hair section by section working from back to front.

3. Sweep the hair into a side ponytail, leaving out the front section. Then backcomb the front section gently, wrap it around the ponytail and pin in place.

4. Finish with a spritz of L’Oréal Professionnel play ball anti-frizz fizz.
